K3300 continuous centrifugals
In addition to its traditional model, which discharges crystalline sugar, BMA also offers the K3300 with an integrated mixing or melting unit. In this version, magma or liquor is produced within the centrifugal and then discharged via pipes. This not only saves costs for additional peripheral equipment; it also offers process engineering benefits such as producing extremely homogeneous magma (or liquor), because separate sugar crystals come into contact with the mixing or melting medium.
The two model types can also be combined. In the combined version, the mixing or melting medium is added directly in the centrifugal, and the product is discharged onto a conveying unit. The machine is then installed not with pipes but with an outlet cone for discharge of the product onto a screw conveyor, for instance. Traditional dry discharge centrifugals can thus be easily retrofitted, without requiring a rearrangement of the centrifugal station.
E-series batch-type centrifugals
BMA‘s E-series centrifugals are our latest development. What started in 2012 with the launch of the E1810 has evolved into a complete series, comprising today the E1390, E1810 and E2240 models. The highlights of this new generation of batch-type centrifugals are maximum efficiency, minimal maintenance, and outstandingly smooth running. In their development, mechanical parts were consistently reduced to a minimum, resulting in simplified movements and permitting the omission of high-maintenance parts. This has translated into a longer service life, shorter downtimes for maintenance, and thus ultimately lower life-cycle costs.
