Moisttech, a division of Sensortech Inc. from the USA is one of the leading suppliers of online near infrared moisture sensors. The main product of this series is the IR 3000 sensor. As of now these devices are sold in Germany by BMA Automation GmbH. The sensors are used to measure the moisture in the food industry, tobacco processing, paper industry and other sectors. By online measuring the product quality can be significant improved and the drying process can be optimized, resulting in significant energy savings. The high measuring accuracy and the multiple interfaces (Ethernet, serial porsts, profibus) to the process control computer make the IR 3000 sensors ideal measuring devices.
Moisttech has selected BMA Automation GmbH as their distributor in Germany due to the excellent track record and many contacts to the food industry and other industry sectors. An additional customer benefit is BMA Automation´s capability to integrate the IR 3000 sensors into the existing process control system.
