Since 1 January 2018, BMA Brazil has been under new management. The new manager, Mr Carlos Vieira, has more than 16 years' experience as a Sales Director and Interim Managing Director for multinational companies in the B2B segment (weighing, slicing and weigh-price-labelling technologies, and coding and marking solutions). With a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Escola de Engenharia Mauá – IMT and an MBA in marketing awarded by Fundação Getúlio Vargas, Vieira also has in-depth knowledge of the Latin American market. He succeeds Henrique Degen, who, over the past years, developed the business, helping to firmly re-establish the BMA brand on the Brazilian market. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Degen for his work. He will continue to act as a consultant for BMA. We wish Mr Vieira and all the team at BMA Brazil every success in their future business development. The objective will be to position BMA as a strong and reliable local partner for Brazilian sugar producers.
