New factory at Liaoning
Yingkou Target Food, the product of a merger between “Yingkou Northern Sweet” and “Guangxi State Farms”, are erecting a refinery with a capacity of 3,000 t/d in the province of Liaoning in China’s north-west. The total invested capital will come to about 170 million euros.
Part of the new factory had originally been used in Liuxing, China’s first modern refinery, to which BMA had also contributed substantially (see BMA Info 42/2004 and 43/2005). The cane sugar factory together with BMA’s refinery extension has now had to move, since Liuxing’s town developers have other plans for the location. Yingkou Target Food are therefore at the moment our biggest and most important customer in China.
Investing into the future
Under the present contract, BMA will supply five E1810 machines, two K3300 and one B1750, and there are already plans for 2014. A letter of intent has been signed for the supply of additional centrifugals: three E1810, two K2300 and on B1750. Further shipments may follow.
