BMA success in Louisiana

Operation of the trial K3300 continuous centrifugal on B massecuite at the Lasuca factory in Louisiana during the 2011 sugar cane crop was so successful that the factory took the machine over immediately after the trial phase and placed additional orders with BMA.

Customer delighted with K3300 centrifugal

The Lula-Westfield LLC purchased a total of four K3300 continuous centrifugals, two machines for the Lula factory and two machines for the Westfield factory. One each of the K3300 will operate on C massecuite and C affination (double purge process). This process was tried on the K3300 supplied in 2012 and proved to be very succes

sful, thus the factories installed the C double purge system in both the Westfield and Lula factories. In addition, both these factories purchased and have installed two each of BMA’s non-leak, mechanical seal pumps for their C massecuite and C magma (read more about pumps here).

Also the Cora-Texas factory purchased a K3300 for their newly adopted C double purge process for the 2013 crop. All new K3300 continuous centrifugals have started up for the 2013 crop and all are operating successfully as well as the four new massecuite pumps.

Excellent performance continues

In December 2013, BMA received an additional order for three K3300 continuous centrifugals for the Alma factory, for start-up in 2014! The K3300 is known for its high capacity, i.e. high sugar quality production due to the Turbo3 product distributor and its double-angled basket. It was one of the highlights at the BMA Centrifugal Conference held in New Orleans in August 2012.
