BMA, the leading supplier of machinery and equipment, process steps and entire factories for the sugar industry is continuing operations as a GmbH (limited liability company) with immediate effect. This change under company law was approved by the Supervisory Board in January 2024.
Long-established Braunschweig company BMA is changing its legal form from Aktiengesellschaft (AG) to GmbH with immediate effect. Dr. Arend Wittenberg, previously the Chairman of the AG’s Board of Directors, has been appointed as the Managing Director of the newly founded BMA Braunschweigische Maschinenbauanstalt GmbH. “By changing the legal form to a GmbH, we hope to simplify and streamline the organisational structure, thus ensuring greater efficiency in decision-making processes”, outlined Dr. Wittenberg.
There will be no changes in business operations, the workforce or the company’s strategic focus: the change of the legal form will not affect the existing contracts, agreements and liabilities of the company or its collaboration with business partners and customers.
